E4 Youth’s approach to exposure and mentoring is to begin by exposing large numbers of students to careers and as they demonstrate interest provide pathways for them to engage further. Employers provide guest speakers, host field trips and tours and then for students that show greater interest they provide job shadowing, portfolio reviews, help direct summer learning activities and internships. E4 Youth facilitates these processes and provides professional mentors that work directly with students to build online portfolios. Career exposure and hands on mentoring services include:

• Professional portfolio reviews

• After school & summer internships

• Intensive training 

  • 1 week career exploration camps

  • 5 week intensive academies

• Pre-qualify students for internships with outside employers
